Most software projects fail in one of two ways. Either an agency bills you by the hour until your budget runs out, or a consultant hands you a slide deck and leaves. We do neither. Every engagement follows the same four steps so you know the cost before we start.
1. Paid Ops Assessment
We watch the workflow as it happens today. We check the inputs, find where people have to retype data, and measure your baseline hours and error rate. You keep the workflow map even if we stop there.
2. Fixed price before we build
Using the baseline from the assessment, we quote one flat price for the build and credit your assessment fee toward it. If our team takes longer than expected, that is on us. Your price does not move.
3. Built on the tools you already run
We do not rip out your software or force your team into a new platform. Rules and code handle the predictable steps. AI handles the messy cases. A person approves anything risky, and every step is logged.
4. Clean handoff and optional care
When the workflow hits the target we set, you own the code, the notes, and the logs. Run it with your own team, or add our optional monthly Care Plan for monitoring and small fixes. No lock-in.
Why we price the job, not the hour.
The problem with hourly billing: When a shop bills by the hour, slow work makes them more money. You take all the risk when an integration gets messy.
Why it hurts: You end up watching the clock instead of fixing the operation. Half-finished tools sit on the shelf because the budget ran out before the edge cases were checked.
How we fix it: We tie our price to the job getting done. In the Ops Assessment, we measure what the broken handoff costs you today. Then we quote a fixed price that makes sense against that cost. We use our own senior architects to design the rules and check every step, and our build team handles the heavy lifting—so you pay for a working fix, not a timesheet.
